There are two main categories of cabinet wood types:

Paint Grade: For cabinets that will be painted, doors and drawers are constructed in a paint grade hardwood. If the design calls for a panel, paint grade cabinets will use a MDF panel due to its stability and ease of painting.

Stain Grade: We offer many wood species for cabinets that will be stained. Each species has a unique color and graining pattern that can be different based on how the board was milled (quatersawn vs rift cut).

PLEASE NOTE: All our cabinets are delivered raw. Cabinet painting or staining is the responsibility of the customer/builder.
